Please make sure you update the main component as well. That can be done from the JFBConnect Overview page with the "Update Now" button, or you can download the extension from the My Downloads area on this site and re-install with the Joomla installer.

That will fix your issue.

Hope that helps,
Alex

Alex,

I had similar issues. When I try to use the 'Update Now' button from 'Overview' page, I get the following eror:
Unknown Archive type
Extracting the update package failed. Please try updating the extension manually.

Should I uninstall and reinstall from Joomla's extension manager?

sougatab,
Not sure why you'd be seeing that. The best guess is that there's a file permission error when trying to extract the downloaded file. We haven't heard of that from other users with this release.

I'd recommend downloading the main package from the My Subscriptions area. Then, just install the main JFBConnect component using the Joomla installer. You don't need to uninstall JFBConnect first.

Hope that helps, but if you get other errors, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex
