I'm able to see the z-index value you set now. Not sure why I couldn't before. However, it looks like you've moved the Like button from the white 'content' area to the black footer area. The rt-block z-index I had you set is now also being set to other modules that are in that area. I mentioned that the style may be too generic, and it looks like it is if you want to use it there.
If I disable the rt-block z-index setting, the footer Like button seems to work fine for me. Can you try without that z-index when in the footer?
This is definitely not a script issue. It is a styling issue, but that doesn't mean it's RocketTheme's fault or problem, frankly. They design their templates to work for most cases, but when scripts have popups and underlays or other javascript driven stuff, odd things can happen. We'll help how we can, and if you can get your template provider to help, that's always great.. but not always something they know enough about how to fix.
