I am seeing an "error" where the Facebook like button should be on articles. This is ocuuring on IE9 and IE10 10.0.9200, FF 14.01 and Chrome 21.0.1180.83.

Running the latest JFBConnect v4.2.4.

Bottom of article:
www.gonnahitcharide.com/en/news/411-bost...ad-of-musikfest-stop

Top of article:
cmbraintrust.com/en/worship/292-leading-...chool-worship-is-fun

Is this a Facebook API change messing this up? Or is this JFBConnect?

Any assistance in fixing the problem would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Jon

Jon,
Not sure. That message usually means there's an error :D It's not very obvious, but usually you can click the Error text and a popup will appear with the message. I personally just see a blank area with no Error text, so I can't click it... hopefully, you can. If there is a pretty message, let me know.

Beyond that, I've checked out everything on the page and it all seems right to me. Also, I tested in the Like button dev page and it works there. So, it seems something is causing problems on site. The only think I can think that may be conflicting is the Disqus plugin. Can you try, temporarily, disabling Disqus and see if that makes any difference?

Best of luck,
Alex

I turned off the plugin for the Disqus plugin and I get the same error.

Ahh. Your error message is great, thank you! It looks like our font-value for Lucida Grande is incorrect (we have an extra 'n' in there). Can you try switching to a different font in the JFBConnect -> Social configuration area? Hopefully that will fix you right up.

Thanks,
Alex

I changed the font to Arial on both sites and all is good.

Thanks,
Jon

Great! Sorry for the bug, but I'm pretty confident you can live with the Arial font for now. The Lucida Grande will be fixed in the next release.

Thanks,
Alex
