Amrik,
JFBConnect won't automatically add a Like or Comment box to Virtuemart. You'd need to add that yourself to their template files. Once you know the right file and where you want it to go, it should be as easy as adding the {JFBCLike} and {JFBCComments} tag to the template.

If that's not what you were looking for, or you need more information, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alzander,

thanks for the reply. Sorry I wasn't specific enough in my post I have edited the productdetails file added the like and comment secions as described however in vm2 it's slightly different. I found what I believed to be the relevant file the like and send options appear but when I send or like something it does not appear on my wall.

Whe I login to the site this does appear on my wall as a returning user so that functionalitity does work. the site is currently online if you would like to check it out kevinmillsproducts.com

Amrik,
Likes and Sends don't always appear on your wall. Facebook now determines how the content should be displayed: Prominently on your wall or just in your Activity Stream (Timeline). If the count is increasing when you Like the page, that means the button is working.

To increase the chance of it appearing on your wall, I'd recommend using the URL Debug Tool to check your Virtuemart Test page and see if the title, description and image look right. If not, or they are missing, Facebook will de-value the weight of the Like or Sends from that page. The richer the content (more information), the more prominent your posts will be.

JFBConnect supports Open Graph tags for your site and can help implement them using our {SCOpenGraph title=xxx} tags. You can also use description and image in the tag to customize the tag for your page.

Hope that helps,
Alex

Amrik,
Please check out the following document which gives instructions on how you can specify the image for the page in Virtuemart. The same can also be done for the title and description if you can determine how to pull that information out of the shopping cart page:
www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/docs/thir...ation-for-virtuemart

Once you add the tags, you'll need to use the Facebook URL Debug Tool to check the page(s) to see what Facebook detects on that page. It will also update Facebook's cache for your page with the new information:
developers.facebook.com/tools/debug

Hope that helps, but if you need more assistance, just let us know,
Alex
