Hi,
I used on my previous website built on Joomla! 1.5 your fantastic component integrated with AUP rules to assign points for such activities as "I Like", comments and send a request.

Well, we are building now the new version of the website on Joomla! 2.5, I have the last version of JFBConnect (4.2.4) , AUP version 1.7.4. The auto-tune was perfect in JFBConnect. I had to change the main website domain in configuration/Staus Wal TAB (from .net to .com), as well I did on my application on Facebook.

Now after first tests, I see that the rules of AUP integrated with JFBConnect are not working (NO POINTS for I Like, comments and send a request). Nor notification email sent to superadmin, no new activities on mainboard of AUP.
I installed the modules of "I Like", "Comments" and "Request". I use module "module anywhere" to add them inside a specific module on main page.
Even plugin comment, once it has been published in articles, doesn't give any sign of life..... no publication on user FaceBook wall.
Can you be so gently to give me an advice?
See you around,
Lorenzo

Lorenzo,
Glad you're so happy with JFBConnect. Hopefully your current issues are pretty easy to resolve.

For AUP, go to the Social Configuration -> Misc tab in JFBConnect. Make sure the "Alpha User Points Integration" setting is enabled. Yeah, it's hidden. We need to make that more clear.

In the same Social Configuration area, also go to the Notifications tab and make sure you have the proper email and notification settings enabled there.

Finally, for the Comment plugin not posting to walls, I'm not sure if that's related to any of the other issues you mention. That one, we may need to see in person though. Can you give a URL of a page that doesn't post to the wall? If the site is in offline mode or restricted, that would likely be why Facebook doesn't want to post it. You can also run your page through their URL debug tool to see if they note any errors (any of which *may* stop them from publicizing the page):
developers.facebook.com/tools/debug

Hope that all helps, and good luck!
Alex

Hi Alex,
nice to hear about you again and thank you so much for your promt answer/help.
Well, all is enable and notification to email is hidden.
Herewith you have an attachment of the debug, maybe can help you to help to see the errors.
The site is online; here one page without comment : www.liveandshop.com/index.php?option=com...ct&view=contact&id=1
here the homepage where there is the module "comments" : www.liveandshop.com

Just for your information the www.liveandshop.net is still online with AUP system points/JFBConnect and everything is working. May be this is the problem?
I'm working now online on liveandshop.com and maybe this cause a conflict?
Waiting for your kind answer.
Best,
Lorenzo

Lorenzo,
Sorry for the delays. For the Comment not posting to a user's wall, that's likely because you haven't specified an image to post. Facebook likes 'rich' content and will hide posts that aren't as exciting (no image). Can you add the {SCOpenGraph image=http://site.com/link-to-image.jpg} tag to your home page so that Facebook can use that? Alternatively, in the Social -> Open Graph area of JFBConnect, you can add the following line in the Defaults box:
image=http://site.com/good-default-image.jpg
That will set a default image on all pages, in case you don't specify one explicitly. This is great for a logo or something similar.

As for AUP, we're looking into possible causes for that, but don't have any great answers yet. If you don't mind sending admin credentials, you can Private Message them to me by clicking the arrow under my picture (<
) and hitting the mail icon.

Thanks,
Alex

Lorenzo,
I just registered on your site through Facebook and then commented on the home page. Looking at the AUP activity log, I was properly awarded points for both registration and for the comment.

Can you tell me how I'm testing differently than you or where the differences are?

Let me know if you see the same activity log or have any information that will help us recreate the problem.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,
yes I have seen your "operations" through the messages what I received as email notification.
You got 10 points at the subscription + 3 points for comment. It perfectly worked out !
I will check again in the next minutes with another user and come back to you. I will make 2 tests : comment and "I like"

Best,
Lorenzo
