Hi!

My sub is ending soon so went ahead to do one last upgrade and downloaded the latest 2.5 package and unzipped it.

The main JFB connect worked fine and has been updated, however, i cannot seem to update the social extenions or profile intergration packages.

It gives the error "JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file"

Im using the latest version of joomla 2.5.4

The latest version of Joomla is actually 2.5.6, just so you know. That shouldn't be the cause of your issue installing though.

Please make sure you've unzipped the files for the social modules or profile plugins before trying to install. If that doesn't work, paste the exact name of the file you're trying to install and we can investigate further.

Silly me, the file name was long and i did not see it had "unzip first" :)
