In the JFBConnect administration area of your Joomla site, you can go to the Configuration -> Facebook API tab. In that area is a Facebook Locale Override setting. You can put in an Arabic locale code there that Facebook supports versus the one that doesn't seem to work from your Joomla site right now.

Do you know what your current locale code is for Arabic? It's something like ar_AR. Again, you can use the XML file provided above to find the proper locale code for Arabic that will work for your site.

Hi Alex,

I am facing a big issue now. Now i can provide my user to login with facebook button in English, French and Arabic but when a user login with facebook using arabic or french, facebook authentication dialog button still ask for user permissions in English. I want to display these permissions in french for Login with Facebook button in French and in Arabic with Login with facebook in Arabic button.

Please reply ASAP. Thanks for your time and consideration.

Thanks
Rajneesh

Rajneesh,
JFBConnect will use whatever the current language of your Joomla site is, if you haven't specified an Locale Override, like we mentioned above. Are you currently using the override setting? If so, that will always force the language to whatever you set there. If you're not using that, how are you setting the language for the user automatically if they haven't already logged in yet? Does that work properly for the rest of your site now? If a user in France visits the site, is it automatically in French?

I'll need a bit more information on how you're auto-switching languages before we can understand how to get the FB language to switch properly if it isn't already. It should, but not sure why it isn't.

Thanks,
Alex
