The detection on the Overview page of JFBConnect is if you have our profile plugin installed, not if Community Builder itself is installed. You can install the JFBConnect / Community Builder profile plugin from the jfbconnect_profile_plugins zip file that was part of the main JFBConnect zip file in our download area.

If you still have issues, please refer to the Configuration Guide page or let us know if you need more help:
www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/docs/conf...n-guide/overview-tab

Hope that helps,
Alex

Are you trying to install the full jfbconnect_profile_plugins_xxx_unzip_first.zip file? If so, you'll need to make sure you unzip it first and just install the Community Builder plugin. If that doesn't work, please make sure you're using the correct j2.5 zip file from us and not the j1.5 one. Finally, you should be using the Joomla installer and not the Community Builder plugin installer, in case you're trying that.

Keep us posted!

Thanks for your response. I installed JFbconnect Community Builder plugin successfully. But under profile tab Community Builder <-> Facebook field mapping it is showing only firstname, middlename and lastname fields, I also need fields like location, sex etc.

Note: In my case AutoTune->ErrorCheck does not success.

Thanks
Rajneesh

Rajneesh,
You need to create the fields in Community Builder that you want to save data too. Then, once created there, the text, date, and URL fields will appear in the Profiles area of JFBConnect so you can setup how the information is imported.

As for the ErrorCheck, what's going wrong? Can you be more specific to the error, and then we can help you further.

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks for your reply. I tried to create the fields in community builder but it is still not showing into Profiles->community builder tab. Can you please provide a detail how to create the fields in Community Builder.

Following is the error which is displaying when i click Error Check Button.

JFBConnect Remote Error Check
Checks performed on: tracautomation.vicp.net/anayou/

Error: Fetching failed.

Thanks

For creating fields in Community Builder, that's something their own documentation would explain the best and is outside of our support area. For importing information from Facebook though, we only support text-type fields (text or textbox), date, and URL fields. Select fields (checkboxes, dropdowns, radio, etc) won't work because there's no guarantee that the options you give would be returned from Facebook.

We'll have to look into why the Error Check is returning that error. When I go to your page though, I get a big warning that the SSL certificate isn't valid. Our system is likely failing to retrieve the page because it looks fishy. Other users likely won't access your site like that either.

Hope that helps get you started,
Alex

Rajneesh,
The access token will last for at least 24 hours (Facebook doesn't state explicitly how long it will last). It's refreshed automatically by JFBConnect when the user logs in as well. There is a way to get a 'long-term' access token from Facebook so you can access the user's account while they're not actively on your site. JFBConnect currently does not do this, but we plan to in a future update.

Hope that helps explain,
Alex
