I try 10 times with different accounts and emails ... i try from different computer and still the same thing ! I see the emails filed. I don't know what to do. Check my DB and don't find anything. Check my joomla users ... same thing. It was working 2 days ago. Now it just doesn't work for me. The other thing is ... why is not showing the screen for permissions ? Did you see this screen ? This is stop working too. I try with one of the new accounts and it don't ask me about facebook permissions ? I have permission to post on user wall . And 2 day ago everything was working fine

From your picture above, the email and confirm email address have moved and changed. I'm not sure where those fields are coming from, but I don't think they're the Joomla email address fields. Do you have any JFBConnect profile plugins enabled? Can you try disabling them, if so. Also, can you check if the User - Profiles plugin is enabled and disable that if so.

The permissions screen is only shown once to the Facebook user. Once they accept it, it's no longer shown.

Are you clicking the Login With Facebook button from your community page, or using some other method to arrive at the Login/Register page?

User - Profile is disable .. i don't see JFBConnect profile plugins.... the only one i see is JFBConnect - Profiles - JomSocial and this is enable but i thing it shot be. I'm deleting the app from user facebook account and the permissions screen still doesn't show when i try it.

I just return Version JFBConnect-4.1.2-Joomla17_Joomla25 and start to working . I don't know what is the problem with the new one. But now the problem is not pooling users avatar from facebook

Simon,
While we still do support some issues with JFBConnect v4.1.2, we're highly recommending all users move to v4.2.0. If you're still having issues with 4.1 that you'd want fixed, instead, we'd recommend moving back to 4.2 and continuing to work on a fix for the email issue.

When you upgrade to 4.2, you may run into some issues since our extensions were not meant to be downgraded. The database tables that were updated when you moved to 4.2 will not get reverted.. so when you install/upgrade again, you may get MySQL errors, just so you know.

When you're back on 4.2, if you're ok with it, can you send me both admin credentials for Joomla and the Facebook login information for a user that is seeing the email field? With that, we should be able to narrow down the issue and fix it quickly. As it is now, we simply can't reproduce the problem.

I did receive your email. Unfortunately, the Facebook Javascript library seems to be having issues on many user's sites right now, which is preventing me from logging into yours with any Facebook account.

The bug has been reported to Facebook. It will hopefully be fixed soon. The specific bug report is below:

I return my backup with JFBConnect 4.1.2 and now everything is working ! No emails , ask for user permission and post to user wall ... Only problem is now it not import the facebook avatar . What you think is the problem ? It showing users avatar on User Map in JFBConnect but not in jomsocial. This is akeeba backup

p.s I don't have time to experiment again with 4.2 . It just don't work for me

p.p.s I return the jomsocial 4.1 plugin and now everything is working

Glad to hear you got it going with JFBConnect v4.1.x. I understand your frustration, and the bug (from Facebook) last night that prevented me from testing with v4.2 to find a solution really didn't help.

We'd love to help you get v4.2 up and running, but if you run into issues with 4.1, just let us know. There are definitely some issues that were fixed in 4.2 as well as new features, but 4.1 is still a solid release, and will hopefully treat you well.
