Hi,

We made a Facebook HTML Article page at veteransdirectory.com/fb.html.

I was wondering if you can help me with something that maybe should be easy to understand but we cannot figure it out.

We don't know how to hide the page on the site so we have a link to it from the home page. The link is in the bottom right of the page close to the footer titled "FB" It looks out of place but we do not know how to be able to have it live or published with making it a menu item and displying it on the home page.

Can you tell me how I can change this. I have other pages I would like to make also and would like to direct people to these pages say in emails but not have them live on the site or linked from the homepage.

Thanks in advance

The best way to do what you're looking for is:
* Go to Menu Manager in the Joomla admin area
* Create a new Menu, call it 'hidden menu' or something
* Create the menu item for the page in that menu group (or copy the menu item you already created there).
* Make sure it's published
* Simply don't create or publish a module that displays that menu group and it's effectively 'hidden' from the front end.

Without publishing a module that displays that menu, you effectively have a menu that no one will see.. but can be used for drop-down selections in the admin area for extensions.

Hope that makes sense, but if you need more help, just let me know!
Alex
