In jomsocial I put:

{JFBCRequest request_id=1 link_image=http://myimagelocation.png}

In jfbc admin my settings for request is:
Title: mytitle
Message: my message
Destination URL: myurl.com/
Thank You URL: blank
Redirect from canvas: unchecked
Published: Yes

I have invited a facebook friend and he is not getting any notifications whatsoever. I had him invite me.. nothing. Am I missing something? Facebook Login is working fine.. but I cant seem to get this working. Now I have a request ID-1 in jfbc admin area that has 4 pending notifications and I am unable to delete it.. what do I need to do?

Is your Facebook Canvas area setup properly? Mainly, make sure you've gone through the "Requirements" and "Migration Settings" sections of the following document:
www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/docs/facebook-requests

If either of those sections aren't setup properly, including having an SSL certificate installed on your site, Requests will not fully work.
