In the JFBConnect Extension Check, it shows that I ned to update the JomSocial - FB Wall from 4.0.0 to 4.1.0. But, I don't see where I am supposed to download it. Can you help me out please?

Ryan,
That plugin is in the profile_plugins zip file, which itself is in the main JFBConnect zip file. We're always trying to find better ways to package and organize things. With JFBC v4.1, we put everything into one big zip file instead of individual downloads.. clears up some confusion, and introduces others. We're also moving to using the automatic update features of Joomla 1.7/2.5 for the non-component files... but that's not complete.. yet :)

Hope that helps, but if you still can't find it, let us know,
Alex

Hey Alex. I found it in the folder. It was named plg_community_jfbcjsactivity_j1.6_j1.7_v4.1.0.zip. For some reason I kept staring at the 4.1.0 and thinking it was old...I was looking for 4.1.1 like everything else.

Yes, I dream of a day when all components are one click installs and auto updates :)

Thanks!

Glad you found it.

We're thinking up a few good ways to use the auto-updater system for everything, but still managing to keep our subscription system intact. We firmly feel that an active subscription/purchase is required for JFBConnect, because, as you've seen, support is a big part of a happy experience when integrating with the behemoth of Facebook.. however, auto-updates and less installations is part of a happy experience as well.

Maybe 4.2 will be fully automated for upgrade.. might be 4.3, but sometime this year, we'll have something. Until then, it's the stone age with manual stuff :)

Yes, you need to keep your subscription system intact. Money is good :) Hopefully, it'll work out..otherwise, I'll just live with manual updates.
