Hey Alex
Earlier you said, "... In general, make sure you have the profile plugin for the system you're integrating with enabled. Then, make sure the mappings are setup properly. Once that's all done, you won't see the fields during registration, the data will just be filled in automatically upon registration." I love the sound of that but don't know were to find and orchestrate these "mappings." I was able to import the first few users in "User Map." I am using JomSocial. Here is an image of my set up.

By the way on my LinkedIn setup, the SCLogin is red, it says 1.0.2 is installed and 1.0.1 is available. Everything else appears normal.

For the SCLogin being out of date, yeah, that's something we're working on improving. Basically, JLinked and JFBConnect both share the same login module now. We released JFBConnect 4.1.1 recently and had to update the SCLogin module for some Facebook specific upgrades. However, we haven't re-packaged JLinked with the update yet. We'll be improving on this system, but for now, you can:
* Ignore it (not a big difference in the versions)
* Install (or re-install) JFBConnect v4.1.1. Your settings will remain intact, but it will install the newest SCLogin
* Unzip the JFBConnect package file you download, and install the SCLogin module manually from the /admin/install/packages directory

For the Field Mappings, you can set those up in the "Profiles" menu item of JFBConnect. You should see all the available fields from Facebook and the JomSocial fields that you can import into listed at the bottom of that page. For more information (though pretty much what I just said), see our Profiles configuration page:
www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/docs/configuration-guide?start=8

Hope that all helps,
Alex

Hey Alex
Thanks for the background on the SCLogin, I'll leave it be.
The redirect to the empty Joomla login page was solved with changing the JomSocial to Always Import Profile Data, otherwise it is right to demand an existing user finish the form. I also made sure there were no required data that wasn't automatically supplied by Facebook.

Thank you for your attention and guidance.

No problem for the help, Jerry. We believe that a good extension is only great is the support is there when you need it.

As for your last post, I can't exactly tell if you're still having issues with the login process, or if my explanation got you going. If you're still unclear or running into problems, just let me know what they are, and I'll gladly help how I can.

Thanks,
Alex

Hey Alex
Your suggestions and reading earlier posts help me solve the redirect to the unpopulated login page.

Thanks again,

Jerry
