Both login and comments modules are on this page: www.mkfm.com/local-events.html and the login button doesnt work for me.

Sorry for the delayed response. I just tried to login on the page you posted above and was properly redirected to:
www.mkfm.com/component/jfbconnect/?view=...ay1wYW50aGVycy5odG1s

On that page is the registration form with my email address filled out from Facebook, as I'd expect. It seems like it's working for me. Can you let us know if you're still having the issue, and if so, what browser you're using so that we can test with that environment? We were testing with Google Chrome on a Mac.

That is what should be happening but it never works for me. I've tried it with Chrome and Internet Explorer on a PC. I get redirected to www.mkfm.com/index.php?option=com_jfbcon...bookUser&return=Lw== when I try to login with facebook and it's a 500 error.

If I go back to the homepage sometimes it's logged in, but then when I click LOGOUT I get a View not found [name, type, prefix]: article, html, usersView error.

I dont know why it's working for you - if you have TeamViewer I can show you it happening on my computer?

there seem to be many JS errors on that page (even on Chrome). I'd suggest looking at that first as it might be the problem.
if not, please try to create a new page with as less modules/contect/plugins as possible, so we could narrow down the problem.

Still isnt working for me - sometimes it lets me login with facebook but I can never get it to logout without an error...

Thank you, now it clearer to see the problem.
do you have JFBC installed and enabled? (look in the Extension Manager -> Manage).

if it is, could you post a screenshot of the JFBC main page (the one showing the Admin Overview )

What extension are you using for SEF URLs? Is that core Joomla, or something else? Can you try disabling your SEF URLs temporarily, and see if that helps. I just tried to register and was redirected to two different pages on two different attempts.

The first was:
http://www.mkfm.com/index.php?option=com_jfconnect&task=loginFacebookUser&return=L2Fib3V0LW1rZm0vbG9naW4tdGVzdC1wYWdlLmh0bWw=
On going here, I got a 500 server error saying the page doesn't exist... which obviously isn't good.

Then, I tried again a minute or two later and was redirected to:
http://www.mkfm.com/component/jfbconnect/?view=loginregister&return=L2Fib3V0LW1rZm0vbG9naW4tdGVzdC1wYWdlLmh0bWw=
Both pages are correct in the normal registration flow, but not sure why the first is failing. Hopefully, it's something silly like the SEF URLs, but it might be something deeper with your server or Joomla configuration.

Definitely strange, but we'll help you get to the bottom of it.

I'm using Joomla's built in SEF URL system. I tried disabling it, but still got an error (www.mkfm.com/index.php?option=com_jfbcon...LWxpY2VuY2UuaHRtbA==)

I've put the default template on this page and a copy of the login module assigned to this template, and it's still generating an error.

Would you like access to the backend to check everything?
