Filipe,
That definitely sounds like the right file, if you're language is set for en-GB. If your Joomla language is set to something else, you'll need to edit that file.

If that doesn't help, can you let me know what text you're trying to change? Another thing you may want to look into is setting the "Debug Language" setting in the Global Configuration area of Joomla. Then, when you view the page, any translatable text will have * characters around it, or ?? if there was no translation found in any of the language files.

Hope that helps get you started,
Alex

Are you sure you're editing the right file? If your Joomla language is set to something other than English, you shouldn't be editing the en-GB language file. You should be editing the language file for your language. Also, please disable any caching you may have enabled on your site.

Finally, did you try the Debug Langauge setting I mentioned to see what happens on the front end?

Thanks,
Alex

HEy Alex,

Solved. So, there were no files for pt-BR, portuguese language, I had to create a new one with this name and place into Portuguese folder. Then names were translated correctly. thank you again!

Ahh. That makes sense. Yeah, we distribute a few languages with JFBConnect, but obviously can't do everything. If you created a pretty generic language file (doesn't have your site name and stuff in it), feel free to send it to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. We'll include it in an upcoming release.

Thanks,
Alex
