After installing JFBConnect, it once shows successful checks list. Then I may only access Joomla 1.7 backend with '500 internal server error' messag at the front end.
Attached please find my installed files list and server error message screenshot with URL. How can I get my web site back on? Thanks.

I uninstall JFBConnect extension but with '0 - Error:0' on home page. Here's the message:
0 - File missing: /hermes/bosweb/web228/b2282/ipg.wanghourcom/ustartbiz/components/com_jfbconnect/libraries/facebook.php
Please re-install JFBConnect or disable the JFBCSystem Plugin

After re-installing JFB Connect, my web site went back on. But shows no Facebook Connect button. I'm sure the JFBCLogin module is enabled.
The Facebook API is setup already. What did I miss? Thank you for reviewing my question.

Stephen,
Sorry for all the troubles you seem to be having. It initally sounded like a bad installation of JFBConnect, which was mostly corrected through uninstalling it.

If you're not seeing the Login With Facebook button, it's likely because the JFBCSystem plugin isn't enabled. Please make sure the Authentication, User, and System plugins for JFBConnect are enabled. Those are all required for normal operation.

If that doesn't help, just let us know!

Thanks,
Alex

Alex,
I enabled all JFB plugins within Joomla. The Facebook Connect button reamins invisible. Is that because the ORDERING always jump back to '0. Button JA-Typography' instead of '0. System - JFBc System' as seen in attachment?

Stephen

p.s. I've submitted a review of JFBConnect in Joomla Extensions Directory.

Thanks for the review, we definitely appreciate it and hope it was good.

For your issue, can you post (or Private Message) the URL of your site so we can see the raw HTML. It sounds like a conflict with another extension or something similar that hopefully seeing the front end will help us narrow down.

Thanks,
Alex

Alex,
Thanks for taking a look. Here is my web site www.ustart.biz/. It's still under construction. 'Ex-Auto' is the template I chose. However I saw no Facebook Connect on login page even with Joomla's default Atomic template.

Stephen,
You need to add the Login With Facebook button to the page for it to show. This can be done either using the SCLogin module (if you're using JFBConnet v4.1) or the JFBCLogin (for v4.0 if you haven't upgraded yet).

Alternatively, you can simply put the tag {JFBCLogin} anywhere on your page (in an article, your template, etc) and that will show the button as well.

If none of the above work, let us know!

Thanks,
Alex
