og:locale was created by ryaarm
HeyAlex,

I've been setting up the Open Graph settings on my site. So far, it is working well. But, when I do a Debug test through facebook (developers.facebook.com/tools/debug), I get an error about og:locale.

Inferred Property: The og:locale property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.

What do I need to do to get rid of this? Thanks!

I should mention that I did try inserting en_US in the JFBConnect Facebook API settings, but it didn't make a difference.

Yeah, this setting will automatically be inserted in 4.1 based on your Joomla language, similar to other fields we automatically insert into the page. To get rid of that warning in 4.0, in the "Open Graph" tab in the Social Configuration area, simply add:
locale=en_US
Remove the setting from the Facebook API tab, as it's not necessary.

It doesn't really hurt anything, but warnings are never fun to see ;)

Add that setting to the big "Defaults" box... missed that point.

Glad to hear it. Again, in 4.1, we'll do this automatically. At that time, you can remove the default.. or leave it... shouldn't matter :)

Good luck,
Alex
