hello i think there are some useful features you could implement in the future:
1) Option to set margin to the social button div (without going into the css)
2) Option to place buttons after h1 headings (so there wouldn't be such space between title and content)...
of course at moment this is possible to set inside the template but if is not too difficult to implement these features, they would be very useful. it's always better to not hack the original code (sometimes updates occurs also for templates).
With these options i think that in many cases wouldn't be necessary to hack edit codes.

Thanks for the suggestion. I added it to our tracker as something to investigate. We always like to make things easier where possible, and if this is something we can easily do without adding too much complexity, we will.
