In the Social configuration area of JFBConnect, there are settings for the Like/Comment button to show up in Aritcle and in Blog views. Can you check to make sure you have the settings correct in that area for Blog view, and if so, try setting it for different positions, to see if that helps (Top, Bottom, or Both). If that doesn't help, definitely let us know!

Thanks,
Alex

Everything on that page is set to yes, view setting is set to top, top and top for article view, frontpage view and category view . Category setting is set to all.

Is there something in the blog view settings that it requires, like show print icon / email icon .. what is its root container ?

Nope, that did not help. Would you like to log in and see my configuration ?

mrsteevj,
Sorry for the delay. Yes, please send admin credentials for the site, and we'll get in and take a peek. You can private message me the details by clicking the arrow under my picture (<---) and hitting the mail icon.

Thanks,

mrsteevj,
Thanks for your patience. I can't tell you exactly what the problem was, but it's solved now. All of your content plugins were set to an order of "0". I simply set the JFBCContent plugin to trigger first, guaranteed, and that fixed the issue. It seems there's a conflict, somehow, with one of the other plugins.. so check to make sure the rest are doing their work correctly. If so, you should be all good to go now.

Let us know if you run into anything else, and good luck!

Nice catch ! Thank-you . Will keep that in mind whenever a plugin does not want to display.

All right next question.. How to I stop the Linked IN share button from displaying ?
*UPDATE* I see it is tagged in with the google + and twitter buttons. Is there a way I can remove it from that group ?

Actually is there a way I can remove both the Linked IN share and Google + buttons ?

Preferably I would like to have twitter and fb social linking but if just the Linked IN share button could be removed that would
be good too. ( If possible ) .

Thank-you for your support thus far .

Steev,
Glad that got you going. Right now, without some code modifications, there's not an easy way to remove the LinkedIn or Google buttons (it's all or nothing). However, with the 4.1 release later this month, we'll have individual options to enable each of those in the content plugin.

Hope you can way about 2 weeks. If not, let us know, and we can tell you the code change required.

Thanks, no problem for the support, and good luck,
Alex

I have no problem waiting 2 weeks so don't worry about the changes I'll be patient.

Look forward to the update, any other changes to look forward to beside the ones you mentioned ? ( out of interest sake )

Thanks again,
Steev
