Hey just to chime in on this...you indeed can convert a profile to a page. All of your friends will become fans. However you'll lose your wall posts etc etc.

Yep, I sent a pm to alzandar with that link too! Let's see what he says when Monday morning comes around in his part of the world (USA). ;-)

Makes it a lot easier to convince people with likes to convert.

Why would it matter what he has to say? That's the way it's done if you want to convert a profile to a page. Good Luck with it!

Yeah, I forget there are tools to convert profiles (timelines) to Pages. Feel free to use it, but definitely read the details about what will, and won't, be transferred over. Once done though, the Likebox should work just how you want it too.
