I am testing out the site, top-shelf.biz.

When I click on a "Like" I see an error message.:

When I refresh the page it is gone and all is well.

It's likely that your page is 'new' to Facebook. For the first 1-3 days that the Like button is shown on your page, you may get that error. During that time, Facebook will be scanning the page to look for spam, malware, porn, etc. Once it determines your site is 'safe', new content (and existing) shouldn't get that error.

Everything else on the page looks fine.. so hopefully that's it. If you've had the Like button on your site for weeks though, let us know, as the above wouldn't be the problem.

Thanks,
Alex

@coagra: How did you solve this problem? I have the same one. I doubt that it will start working after couple of days by itself. Thank you.

I just checked the site ( top-shelf.biz ) -- prompted by your post to this thread.

The issue does seem to be magically gone -- so I guess it is a Facebook thing -- I did nothing but wait. :B:

See for yourself. Go to top-shelf.biz and click like a few times and see for yourself.

Coach,
Thanks for posting back about your results. We understand the hesitation user's get when we say "wait it out", and know it sounds like we're giving a blow-off answer. However, we've been dealing with Facebook's intricacies for quite a while, and sometimes, that simply is the right answer :) Glad we were right this time!

Vojkan,
Your issue is a bit different, and I'll be responding to it in the other thread you created.

Thanks,
Alex
