Hi Alex, sorry to reopen this, but I hit a problem...

Trying to get this code to work in a live website, and it seems to be breaking the formatting, despite resizing the frontpage width down to 220px wide.

See how the layout should be in the screenshot with jfbconnect switched off? But with it on, the content overlaps the width of the page. A look at it in firebug (screenshot 3) shows the 220 width of the comment box (I put a red box around it on the screenshot), but it seems to have a lot of space around it (the blue highlighted section).

What do you think??

Kiwi,
Is it possible to post the URL of the page with this issue? Not sure what's going on, but if we can see the page that should help us narrow things down.

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks Alex for the reply. Found a workaround this afternoon but too busy to post.

It isn't actually coming from the comment box as I thought above, it's coming from the "Content-Plugin - Like" settings. If I set the Like button to display in "Show in frontpage view" then it produces the problem above. Set this to none and the bar disappears, and the layout problem too.

Hopefully this is helpful? It would be good to have the buttons appear below the article titles on the frontpage, but how?

Let me know if you still need the link, I'll pm to you.

Kiwi,
The URL may still help, as I'm really still not exactly sure what's happening. I would recommend playing with the width setting in the Content Plugin - Like area though. Make it really small (like 50) and see if that fixes thing, or even disable the 'extra' social buttons to see if that helps. It's possible that all the buttons, or the width of the Like button is simply causing things to extend too far.

Hope that helps,
Alex
