When I try to insert the JFBConnect Easy-Tag {JFBCInvite} into an article, it just shows up as text, it doesn't bring the module into the article.

There currently isn't an Easy-Tag for the JFBCInvite module. To add it to an article, we'd recommend you do the following:
* Create a new JFBCInvite module instance
* Set the position to "jfbcinvite_article" (you can type that in there)
* In your article, type {loadposition jfbcinvite_article}

That uses the built in Joomla Load Module content plugin.

Hope that helps. In JFBC4.1, we're planning to overhaul the Invite module, and will likely add an EasyTag at that point.

Thanks,
Alex

Do you have a solution for the problem where the right side of the popup gets cutoff?

I just responded to your other post regarding the cutoff. I'll help you however I can in that thread.

Thanks,
Alex

I tried to mane a new instance of the JFBCInvite module. I put in the position jfbcinvite_article. I put {loadposition jfbcinvite_article} in the article and now nothing shows up.

Make sure in the plugins area that the "Load Modules" plugin is enabled in the Content Group. If you click into that plugin, you'll see the syntax to use, which I believe you have correct above.

I haven't used that plugin in Joomla 1.7 much, but have a lot of experience with it in Joomla 1.5. You may also want to check the module configuration to make sure it's set to show on 'All' menu items.. which, since that's a non-standard position, it still won't show normally unless you've specifically included it using the loadposition tag.

Hope that works, and let us know either way!
Thanks,
Alex
