Does your application works with Jomsocial 2.2.4?

I have already the Facebook Connect from JomSocial installed into my social site.
Do I need to uninstall it to use yours JFBCLogin Module?

In fact I'm really interested to have my site as a Facebook page into Facebook.
Do I need the JFBCLogin Module since I have Facebook Connect from Jomsocial already installed in my site?

Thanks,

Fábio Garcia

Fábio,
Absolutely, we work with JomSocial 2.2.4. We've worked with every release of JomSocial since 1.0.135, and currently ensure compatibility with 2.0+.

As for your current JomSocial integration, yes, you'd need to disable that. We have a support guide on how to more fully replace JomSocial's Facebook integration on the page below, which will show you how to replace their buttons easily:
www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/docs/thir...ration-for-jomsocial

In addition, JFBConnect has the ability to import any existing Facebook users that have already linked their accounts to JomSocial, so it should be a painless transition.

For more information on all of the benefits of JFBConnect's Facebook integration over JomSocial's, see the page below:
www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/features/...n/jomsocial-facebook

Hope that all helps, but if you have any other questions, just let us know!
Alex

Hi Alex,

Thanks for answering.

My idea is to have this page: www.motobook.com.br/homepage/ as a Facebook Page,

Is it possible? What about the wide page? I need to create one page special for Facebook?

Thanks,

Fábio

You can use any page of your site to show in Facebook, and when there, user's can navigate through your site if there are links to other pages. JFBConnect lets you specify a specific template to use when people are viewing your site on Facebook. You'll be constrained to the widths Facebook allows (560px for Page and 740px for Canvas, I think), but you can simply make your template work for those widths.

Hope that helps,
Alex

Oh yeah, a custom template also lets you customize which modules will, or won't show, when displayed, which allows much easier flexibility for fitting in the space constraints of Facebook.
