Daniel,
I know what the problem is. You've installed the Joomla 1.5 version of JFBConnect. If you could, the easiest thing to do is simply install the new version over the top of what you have. It will update the files and should keep all your settings intact. Hopefully, things will work right away for you.

Some other notes:
1) I disabled the JomSocial profile plugin. You don't look to have JomSocial installed, and while JFBConnect should just ignore the plugin, it's best to leave it disabled if not in use.
2) I installed extPlorer, a file manager to check some things before I realized the problem.
3) In the 4.0 release, we have plans to make it much more obvious when the wrong version of JFBConnect is installed with the wrong Joomla version.

Hope this helps, and keep us posted if the above fixes you up as we expect it will.. even if it's not 100% at that point, things should be a lot clearer.

Thanks,
Alex

Daniel,
Looking again, the XML file looks to be the Joomla 1.6 version of JFBConnect, but the file I looked at /components/com_jfbconnect/controllers/loginregister.php was definitely the 1.5 version.

Was this ever a 1.5 site? Did you try to upgrade JFBConnect from 1.5 previously? Either way, it may be best to uninstall the following and then reinstall the main JFBConnect package and see if that works for you:
JFBConnect
JFBConnect User Plugin
JFBConnect System Plugin
JFBConnect Authentication Plugin
JFBConnect Content Plugin
JFBCLogin

Keep us posted.

Thanks,
Alex

Ingmar,
I'm able to easily recreate the issue on your site, and agree that something's wrong. We're trying to re-create on one of our development systems to determine the cause. Normally, the Community Builder profile plugin should deny the login, but it doesn't seem to be happening on your site. Not sure if it's a bug in our code, a configuration issues, or a Joomla 1.7+CB 1.7 issue, but we'll let you know when we figure it out.

Thanks for your patience,
Alex

Ingmar,
Thanks so much for your patience. We think the issue should be fixed on your site, but please test. The issue was in JFBConnect with how we check activation of the user both within Joomla and CB's additional checks. We'd love it if CB used more Joomla mechanisms so this type of stuff didn't happen in the future.. but that's unlikely.

Either way, here are a few notes:
1) This change is just on your system. It will likely be in the next release of JFBConnect as well, but will need to go through our automated tests to make sure it doesn't break anything else.
2) The email I was sent to confirm my address didn't work if AceSEF was enabled. I disabled Ace and the confirmation worked. This is not a JFBConnect issue, but just wanted to make you aware of it.
3) My email address is still setup for the administrator account you sent. Please revert it back to yours

Please test and make sure nothing else is wrong.. and we'll be testing the changes we made for any unforeseen consequences as well.

Good luck, and thanks again,
Alex

Thx for the effort Alex,

but there seems to be something seriously wrong.

ANY setting I try, results in the Facebookuser gaining registered access to the site. However, profiles are not created, neither in Joomla, nor in CB, nor in the JFBConnect User Map. Emails are not send, not to the FB user, not to Admin. Attached are the four settings I tried, all resulted in the same behaviour.

I erased your login, set back the admin email and cleaned cache (both site and admin) in between each experiment.

The user I tried with is my own FB account, with an email that is different from any of the registered test users.
BTW: you can easily see if you are logged in as registered user when the Test menu item appears.

Ingmar,
I just tried again.. I ran into a few issues, but none like you were explaining.

At first, when I registered an account through Facebook, I received two confirmation emails. This was because both Community Builder activation and Joomla activation was enabled. To fix, I disabled Joomla activation - There should only be one thing trying to activate the user.

Additionally, when I tried to click the confirm link in the email, I got to a strange page. I disabled AceSEF again, and that seemed to clear it up, but it may have been the auto-login issue (see below). For the rest of my testing below, I did it with AceSEF off. This shouldn't be necessary, but may be a good way to test for now.

Next, I registered through Facebook, but got a 500 server error directly after. The confirmation email did arrive properly though. The 500 error was due to the "Automatically Log Facebook Users In" setting. Since the user wasn't confirmed, they couldn't be auto-logged in, so this caused a loop. I disabled that setting. In the future, we plan to handle the case where activation is required and auto-login is enabled, but for now, they don't work together.

After that, I was able to confirm my email address and log in normally.

Please test, and see how it goes for you.

Thanks,
Alex

Ingmar,
Just responded to your PM. I think that should hopefully explain what's going on.

Let us know how it goes,
Alex

Hello Alzander, how´re you?

Thankd for the prompt reply and sorry for the delayed answer. This was never a 1.5 site. I uninstall JFCB and all plugin and re-install, now it´s seem to be almost ok. The unique problem is the need of the user to login twice. After the first atempt to login, everything works fine, but the user have to try to login twice. What I´m missing?

Thanks a lot and best regards.
