OK, fiddled a bit with the settings, but it still does not work as I expect it. Here is what I have set:
User Manager Options: Allow user registration --> YES
User manager Options: New user account activation --> ADMIN
CB Configuration, Registration tab: Allow user registration --> Same as global ‘allow registration’ site setting
CB Configuration, Registration tab: Require admin approval --> NO (as this is set in User manager Options thru the Admin setting)
CB Configuration, Registration tab: Require email confirmation --> NO (as this is set in User manager Options thru the Admin setting)
JFBConnect Configuration, User tab: User creation --> Full Joomla User
JFBConnect Configuration, User tab: Skip Joomla User Activation --> No
JFBConnect Configuration, Login/Logout tab: Auto Login Facebook Users --> YES
JFBConnect Profiles, CB tab: Skip CB activation: --> Skip
Now what I expect from this is that a Full Joomla User is created, using JFBConnect, that an email is sent with an activation link for the new user, and that after activation, an email is sent to the admin to approve. And finally and most importantly, that the user is NOT able to log in until all this has been completed. When all this is done, a returning user auto logs in through his facebook details.
Instead I get:
The following text:
Facebook profile successfully connected.
Your account has been created and a confirmation link is send to your email address. Before you can login, you have to confirm your email by clicking on the link. An administrator will then activate your account.
So far so good.
But I also get "Automatically logging you in with your Facebook credentials", with an Edit profile page. And upon going back to the main page, the new user is logged in (without activation mail link clicking and without admin approval)
I also get TWO mails, one with the activation link AND another one with the login details and the mentioning that the account has been activated.
Changing Skip CB activation has no effect at all, it does exactly the same thing.
Changing Auto Login Facebook Users to No, does exactly the same thing, with the exception that one DOES need to click the activation link. However, there is still no admin approval needed, and the first mail send still says that the account has been activated.
What am I doing wrong here?
