While the button works on most pages, there are presently two pages for which is doesn't work, even though it is displayed. I click it several times, and while the pop-up box appears for a moment, it vanishes and nothing else happens. On other pages, the pop-up box should briefly and then the connection is complete with the like button working and user image displays. See the Deep Purple (upcoming releases) and "A Scarcity of Miracles" article on the www.mediaversal.com site.

If your site is new (or you just added Facebook), you can run into this issue. It will clear itself up as Facebook scans your pages (or you use the linter posted in the last thread). Facebook is simply preventing Likes on a site that it hasn't seen enough of yet to determine that it's not a spammy or otherwise malicious site. Once it's scanned a few pages, you shouldn't have this problem anymore, and once it's scanned a page, it should be fixed on that page.

Hope that helps!

Like mentioned in the post above, if your article content, site, or Facebook application are new, it can take a few days for the Like button to fully work properly.

You can use the Linter tool, below, to scan individual pages that are having the issue. Once scanned, they should start working automatically. I did it with the page you linked, and now the Like count is working as expected:
developers.facebook.com/tools/lint

Facebook will scan your pages automatically with time, but the Linter is good to kick-start the process. You won't have to do this with each new page forever.

Hope this helps, and let us know if you run into any other issues!

You can set a default type in the box mentioned above. In the next 4.0 release, if it's not set there, we'll be defaulting the value to website, similar to if you were to put the following into the default's box:
type=website

The language note we haven't seen before, but again, if you want to specify a language in the Open Graph form, simply put in:
language=pl_PL

Hope that helps, and glad our suggestion got you going. If you need anything else, just let us know. Finally, please consider leaving a rating and review on the Joomla Extension Directory for JFBConnect.

Good luck,
Alex
