I have setup JFB Connect, and need help understanding why the first image is NOT selected on a couple of my articles when I use the Like button. Is there an image cache? If there is a cache is this located at FB or on my site's server? How would it be cleared if it is a cache issue?

There is a cache. Facebook uses the Open Graph tags, which are available in JFBConnect. You can learn more about them below:

Facebook caches this information on their site and will reload it every 24-72 hours. You can use the Linter tools to both force an update as well as see what Facebook 'sees' on your page:
developers.facebook.com/tools/lint
