Content Plugin

In the Social configuration area of JFBConnect, click on the Content Plugin - Like or Comments tabs, and set the "Show on Front-page" setting to Hide.

If that doesn't work for you, let us know. In that case, it would depend on the type of menu item you're using for your front-page.
