Problems with JFBCfan

Sorry I didn't get back to this post sooner. Not sure what happened with the Fan module this morning, but Facebook does update their Javascript library (which we include on your page) frequently. Sometimes, bugs are introduced with those updates, but when they are, they're usually fixed fast as you've seen.

As for the other issue you mention, I'm not sure what you mean about the extra likes. On the Joomla page, in the Fan module, I see 7 likes for your Fan page. When I go to the Fan page, I see 7 there as well.

That seems right to me, but think I'm looking at the wrong thing when you mention a user with 2 likes.. if you can clarify, I'm sure we can get to the bottom of it quickly.

The like count is for anyone, excluding the logged in user, that likes the page. So you are the 'bonus' like.. it's you + the 11 others that like the page. If you log out of Facebook, the like count should then be correct because it will be everyone that likes the page. For some widgets, like the Like button, it will actually show you and your friends that like the page. So, if you, Bob, and Jill like a page (both are your friends), and the page has 15 total likes, it would show:
"You, Bob, Jill and 12 others like this"

That's just how Facebook works. Hope that makes sense, but if you think it's more out of whack than that, let us know!

Ahh. That's simply Facebook's poor implementation of 'random'. We don't have any control of how those images show. All we can say is that as you get more user's liking the page, the less the chance of duplicates because there will be more for Facebook to choose from.
