Hello! I have installed JFB Connect component for Joomla 1.6 (ver. 3.3.0) and Joomla 1.6.3. I would like to set italian language (in particular for the published modules as login module), but I haven't understood if it is possibile and how I can do it. In fact I see that all the messages are in english in the published modules. For example in the login module I would like to see "Dimenticate le credenziali?" instead of "Forgot login?".

Can someone help me?

Thanks in advance!

Luca

Luca,
Sorry for the very delayed response. I wanted to let you know that version 3.3.1 of JFBConnect was just released which has the Italian translation for the JFBCLogin module included. This was contributed by a user (we don't know Italian), so feel free to comment on the accuracy of the text strings.

To create language files yourself, generally, you want to copy the language file for the en-GB version of the extension to the it_IT folder. So for the JFBCLogin module, you'd copy:
/languages/en-GB/en-GB.mod_jfbclogin.ini
to
/languages/it-IT/it-IT.mod_jfbclogin.ini

Once there, you change the strings to say whatever you want, in whatever language you want. You can do the same for any files in your en-GB file and the proper language file will be loaded for whatever is set for the default language of your site.

Hope this all helps, but if you have questions, let us know!
