Is there a profile plugin for Kunena?

Not yet. The Joomla 1.5 version of JFBConnect has a Kunena profile plugin, but when the Joomla 1.6 version was released, Kunena was incredibly unstable from our testing. We're testing the 1.6.4 version, just released a few days ago, which seems better. If we can get a profile plugin that we're confident with and don't feel would be a nightmare to support, we'll be releasing for that version. With luck, testing, and a release, will only take about a week; however it may take till the end of the month to get something out.

Hope that helps explain the current standing. The intent is to have complete feature compatibility between the Joomla 1.5 and 1.6 versions of JFBConnect in June. Currently, the only difference is the support of a few extra systems (K2, Kunena, and Agora) by the Joomla 1.5 version. K2 and Kunena now support 1.6, whereas Agora has made no announcements about support for the newest Joomla release.

Sorry for the confusion. Yes, I can see we should update our product page to call that out more. Our JED listing does specify which plugins are for 1.5 only, but missed it on our own pages.

I'm assuming you're using Kunena 1.6.4? Does it seem pretty stable for you? Did you try their last releases for Joomla 1.6? Just curious as to your experiences with it.

Just wanted to give you an update - The plugin code is updated and I'm running it against our automated tests for Kunena 1.6.4 right now. This new version of Kunena is looking much better for me and more useable. I expect to post the plugin file this afternoon shortly.

The new profile plugins zip file is available for download now in your My Subscriptions area. It includes Kunena, CB and JomSocial.
