Comments not working

Sorry for the delayed response to this. I just left a comment on your site and it posted immediately. The Javascript call that we use to send the email notification is being blocked, which is why you aren't getting the message. The Javascript error is that the following URL can't be called:If you go directly to that URL, you'll see that there is an Apache Forbidden message showing. I'm not sure what's preventing that URL from loading, but it's a valid URL. If you have a server or extension based firewall or other security product, look into it's log and see if it's blocking that page from loading.

I hope that helps get you started. Once we determine why that URL can't be called from our Javascript, we'll have our answer as to why you aren't getting the notification emails.

As to not receiving an email, you're right, one wasn't sent to you. We have excellent logging of all emails sent by our server, and there definitely wasn't one for you (though others were are subscribed to this forum/topic, so it was properly sent).

Can you check at the bottom of this page if the "Subscribe" button is checked? If so, it means that you aren't subscribed to this post. If it's un-checked, that means you already subscribed before and should have received the email.

Let us know... if you are subscribed and should have received an email, we'd love to know so we can investigate further.

Thanks for reporting it. We've added some more logging to our emailing system that should help provide us with some more details of when emails should and shouldn't be sent. It's possible there's some underlying bug, and if so, we'll get to the bottom of it.

Hopefully you'll get the email for this (we'll be checking as well).
