Yes, I realized that after I posted the first message. Again, can you tell me if the site with the old JFBConnect that you linked to has 'old' content or 'new'? If it's old, please try creating a new article and see if the Like button works. If so, then try to upgrade JFBConnect and see if it breaks.

There's no reason it should break during the upgrade, and the bug report on Facebook is from many users, not just JFBConnect ones.

However, if there's something we're doing wrong or something we can fix, we gladly will!

Thanks,
Alex

Hi
Just added 2 new articles (one in English and one in Hebrew) - i both cases the button works fine.

Could you please try YOUR test site with JFB 2.4.3 and see if it works or not?

Its a face that something is different...

We've been doing tests on multiple different versions, including 4.2.3 and things work fine with that on our development and test sites. If others could chime in with what version they are using, that would really help narrow things down if it is a version-related issue. From what we can tell it isn't, but if everyone does specify it's only with 4.2.5, and no one reports the issue with 4.2.3, that will definitely make us focus on those changes more.

I didn't realize I hadn't posted the Facebook bug report in this thread, but here it is below:
developers.facebook.com/bugs/496305530382482

There's also a discussion about this issue in the Joomla 2.5 forums, so we're heavily invested in figuring out a solution if we can. Support takes time and effort away from other activities. If we can fix things, we do!

Keep us posted on your version numbers, we'd love to narrow this down if possible.

Thanks,
Alex

well, the only versions I am familiar with regarding this bug are: 4.2.3 - working, 4.2.5 - not working
:)

I trust you are doing the best you can to solve this

I just wanted to come back and say something was fixed I believe. The last few articles I've posted in the last day or two are all working just fine.

Yes, the issue was marked as 'Fixed' by Facebook as of Wednesday. We haven't heard from any users about the issue since then and haven't been able to see it on the few sites we own that were affected as well.

So, it looks like the issue should be gone. If anyone's still having problems, definitely let us know and we'll look into it further.

Just so it's clear, no changes were required to JFBConnect so you do not need to change anything to make things work if you were having this issue.

Thanks for all your patience,
Alex

Hi, it seems that I'm having today this issue on my website www.rouride.com (articles and products), I upgraded today from JFBConnect v4.0 to v4.2.5, and I cannot leave a comment on any of the facebook "like" buttons of my web, because the iframe desapears very quickly.

Any ideas?

Hi alzander,
Since I upgraded yesterday it does not work properly. I'm using Joomla 1.5 with virtuemart 1.1.9. All was fine with JFBConnect v4.0.1. You can test it at www.rouride.com
