Is it possible to have a popup for guest users to force login/registration with a time cookie. For example, www.og.nr

It wouldn't be something we implement in JFBConnect directly. However, there are some modules out there that look like they may do what you are looking for (load a specific module in a popup on page load):

I haven't tested any of those, but are what I found from a very quick Google search and hopefully work, or give you some ideas of what's possible.
