Sorry for the delay. We were presenting at Joomla Day Chicago this weekend and didn't get a chance to be by our development iPad until now.
We can recreate the issue, but it's not something that can be solved within JFBConnect itself. This is strictly a Javascript issue on Facebook's end. There's already a bug-report that has been filed against this issue below:

I'd highly recommend using the "Does this repro describe your issue?" link and putting in your information. The more people that do that, the higher the priority it will become for them.
Hope that helps, and sorry for the inconvenience. It does work fine in Safari on the iPad. While Chrome on iOS is gaining traction, Safari is still, by far, the larger audience.
