Is your Facebook Canvas URL setup and functioning as expected? Can you send me the apps.facebook.com/ URL to see what happens? If the Canvas doesn't work, Facebook won't send the invitation to the user.. since they won't be able to do anything when they accept it.

Other possibilities are that your app is in Sandbox mode or some other more obscure possibilities. Most times though, its that the Canvas isn't setup.

Thanks,
Alex

No. The Canvas area requires an SSL certificate (a Facebook requirement, not JFBConnect) and the Request functionality relies on the Canvas area for invitations. We wish that wasn't the case, but that's simply how Facebook has things structured.

An SSL certificate can be had for as little as about $11-12 / year (for multiple years) or under $20 (for one year). Some hosting companies require you buy their certificate, but if you can buy 3rd party ones, the guide below explains the process:
SSL Certificates for Facebook

Hope that helps,
Alex

I usually get 1 friend accept a request out of 20 invites. I guess its because there are too much requests from other apps some people just igonore them.

Low acceptance rate is pretty common, unfortunately. 5% isn't terrible in the scheme of advertising, honestly though.

Also note that the number of accepts is the absolute minimum of actual accepts. JFBConnect can only record a clickthrough if a user has already approved your Application. That's because Facebook doesn't disclose the user's Facebook ID if they haven't accepted your app. However, the only way we can look up a request is by using their FB ID, so not all requests that are actually clicked through by a user show up in the Requests area of JFBConnect.

It's an unfortunate design choice by Facebook, but one we have to live with. They feel that disclosing the user IDs of people who haven't approved the app is an information disclosure (privacy issue), so they won't provide it.

Hope that all explains!
Alex
