JFBConnect and Discount Coupons

Yup, that's easily do-able with JFBConnect. Below is an explanation of what and how you need to do that to abide by Facebook's Terms of Service and also not cause other problems for your app.

Basically, you want to use what's called a "Reveal Page". When a user first visits your Facebook Page application, they will be presented with a specific article from your site (configurable within JFBConnect). This first page can let them know why they should Like the page. Then, when they like the page, they'll be redirected somewhere else (a coupon page, for example).

This is all done inside your Facebook Page. You'll create an "Application Tab" which is one of those square boxes under the Cover Photo. You can name the app "Coupons!" if you want to get people to click it, or link to it directly. JFBConnect will help you set all of it up and we have a pretty detailed guide on how to setup the Reveal Page feature.

Some notes:
* You can't have a Like button on your site that 'gates' some content. That's a violation of FB's terms and we don't support that
* The Like button can be easily un-clicked. There's no way to guarantee that someone won't un-like your Page after they see the coupon. This isn't a hack, but is an easy way around things.

For adding a new Page Tab (those little icon boxes under your cover photo), you can:
* Click the down arrow on the right and then hit the "+" sign. Then, find your app. This can be tedious and difficult, frankly.
* In the "Application as Page Tab" config area of JFBConnect, if everything looks right, there should be a line at the top that looks like:

Your Page Tab application appears to be setup properly. To add it to your Facebook Page, Click Here.

Click there and you should see a list of any Facebook Pages you are an administrator of. Select the one you want to add your Application too and hit Save. That will add it to the boxes as well.

Hope that makes sense... and yes, the terminology between Pages, Tabs, and Applications can be incredibly confusing...
