I just installed the new version, but now when loggin into my testsite (dev2.copenhagenbeta.dk) the page reloads itself and I can see that the FB login does that.

I'm prtty sure I did block my FB account on the testsite for admin-reasons, but that shouldnt cause this, should it?

Morten,
We'll have to test some more with blocked accounts. We did change how JFBConnect automatically logs user's in, and I could imagine a case where a continuous reload happens, which obviously isn't good.

There's a few options to work around the issue now, while we investigate:
1) Disable "Automatically Log Facebook Users In" option in JFBConnect, or
2) In Facebook, go to Account Settings -> Apps and remove your application. This will prevent the auto-login feature from triggering

Let us know if that doesn't fix the issue, for now, and we'll let you know what we come up with. There are a few other minor bugs we're working on for a 4.2.2 release later this month, and if this is something we can recreate, this will definitely go in that release as well.

Thanks,
Alex

Morten,
We just did a bit more investigation of this issue, and really can't replicate it (or therefore find a cause). Are you still having issues?

Basically, when a user logs in with Facebook (or visits the page while already logged into Facebook.com), a special cookie from Facebook is set on the page. JFBConnect will detect this cookie the very first time it's set, and try to log the user in (if auto-login is enabled). Even if the user is blocked in Joomla, the cookie will already be set, so we won't try to log the user in again.

Can you let us know if any of the solutions above fixed the problem? If so, can you recreate the problem by re-blocking the user or adding your application?

Thanks,
Alex
