Alright.. didn't find a solution. Did notice that the popup works on other JomSocial pages, just not the main home page (Resend Activation, user profile pages, etc, work). On that home page, there's a Javascript error with the modal.js file right when the page loads, indicating some other Javascript code is 'attaching' to it in an incorrect manner.

The only real difference I can see on the JomSocial home page is that image scroller at the top. Can you try (temporarily) disabling that, and let me know if it works? Obviously, that's not a solution, but if it works, that will help us figure out the conflict.

Once done with that, disable the login popup for now, and we'll have to look into it further.

Thanks,
Alex

That fixed it. As soon as I went to the default JomSocial template it worked. Thanks! I'll set everything back to my original settings for now. Really appreciate you looking at this!

Glad to hear that is the cause. Unfortunately, from here, there's not much we can do to fix it. Whoever is the creator of that template, I'd let them know there's a bug/conflict with the modal.js scrip, which is a part of Joomla. Even when I visit the page now, I get the following Javascript error when using our debugging tools (not something normal users would see):
Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method 'adopt' -- modal.js
That's the error that's preventing our (and other modals) from working on that page.. though JFBConnect's may be the only one.

Hope they can find a solution. Let us know if you make any progress!

Thanks,
Alex
