Re: Not Working with IE

Bronius,
Facebook is automatically selected the image it thinks best represents your page. Unfortunately, it's choosing the following:
alietuvis.us/images/banners/Saul … destas.gif

That is an animated GIF, which Facebook does not display. So, you're just seeing the first frame, which is a solid blue image.

Please either set a default image in the Open Graph area of JFBConnect by adding the following line:
image=http://site.com/link-to-default.jpg

That image will be detected by Facebook and used automatically after about a week. On individual pages, you can set a specific image for that page by adding the following tag:
{JFBCGraph image=http://site.com/link-to-better-image.jpg}

Hope that helps,
Alex

To manually set the image on a page, do the following:
If the page is a Joomla article or something else with text
Simply add the following tag to your text:
{JFBCGraph image=http://site.com/link-to-better-image.jpg}

If the page is automatically generated, and you can't control the text very easily
Create a Joomla Custom HTML module. In the text area, place:
{JFBCGraph image=http://site.com/link-to-better-image.jpg}
Then, publish the module and set it to show in the right menu item for the page(s) you want the image to work for.

Hope that helps. The main this is that you simply need to add the {JFBCGraph ...} text to the page somehow. Facebook will detect and start using the new image after a few days.

Thanks,
Alex
