First of all, let me congratulate you for such a great component, nice job.

The issue that is that when i copy a link from my website and then paste in on Facebook it brings the following field with no problems: Title and intro text but it doesn't show the thumbnail. When i on the my site if i had "like it" it shows the title, intro text and thumbnail correctly, the only problem is when i copy the link from the site and paste on facebook. I have search through the forum with no luck. Please let me know what could i do in this case.

Also, i have read the article about giving rewards to the users through AUP if they invite friend using the Invite Friend request, link(www.sourcecoast.com/forums/jfbconnect/jf...of-facebook-requests), is there a way to make this work with jomsocial points and not using the AUP?

Thanks again for all.

Teo,
Glad to hear you're liking things!

The image on Facebook is probably just going to work in a few days if you just added JFBConnect. First, make sure you're using the Open Graph features of JFBConnect (in the Social Configuration area). The Open Graph tags are what describe your pages to Facebook. However, they can take a few days to properly show up in all ares of Facebook.

I hate to just say "wait it out", cause it looks like we're just pushing you off.. but it's usually the best advice.

If you'd like us to take a look at your page though and see if there are other problems which can cause the image not to show, no problem, just post (or private message) it to us.

Thanks, and good luck,
Alex

Teo,
Everything looks good from what we see. None of the obvious problems that can be there are on your site, so I think you're good to go. Another thing you can do to test is use the Facebook Debug Tool, below. When you run your URL through it, it will tell you what Facebook sees about your page and how it would be represented in the stream:
developers.facebook.com/tools/debug

Finally, I forgot to respond to the question about JomSocial. The upcoming 4.2 release will have AUP integration, but not JomSocial points. Our plan is to add JomSocial points (and a flexible system for other triggers to take place after Likes, Comments, Requests, and other things) to the 4.3 release. When 4.2 comes out, if you want JS points sooner, feel free to post then and we can likely help you add it easily to the 4.2 release.

Hope that helps,
Alex
