In the JFBConnect Configuration area, under the "User" tab is an additional setting for "Skip Joomla User Activation:". You'll want to make sure that's enabled as well. CB also has their own completely separate activation logic that you'll want to disable as well, but they are separate features.
Finally, if that doesn't work, please check the user's profile in CB and see if the information (avatar and any fields) are properly imported from Facebook. If not, that would meant that CB isn't properly saving the user we're sending them and that can be caused by a few reasons.. just let us know and we'll go from there.
