JFBCRequest opens a new blank frame

First off, if you really are on Joomla 1.5.3, that very easily could be the problem. The current version of Joomla is 1.5.25. 1.5.3 has huge security problems and also doesn't support some features that JFBConnect requires. You'll need at least 1.5.15 (almost 2 years old now) for all features of JFBConnect to work properly.

With that said, can you explain more about what doesn't work? Does the pop-up come up or not? Do you have an SSL certificate installed on your site? Does the Canvas page for your site work if you go directly to it (apps.facebook.com/your-canvas-url)?

If none of that makes sense, just let me know. Most of that should be covered in the Requests configuration guide, but we understand it can be confusing.
