It would be awesome to have a profile extension for ACYMailing.

edit: changed title from IDEA to "ACYMailing User Profile"

Hello,
ACYMailing is a newsletter extension for Joomla, which uses Joomla User's profile. As far as I know ACYMailing adds nothing to the User Profile.

Although that is a perfectly good idea, but... what exactly are ACYMailing profiles and how exactly that would require an integration with JFBC?
the only thing I can think of, is the Name + Email + Default (Auto) Lists subscription. other than that, I don't think ACYMailing has more fields to the user...

ACYMailing has custom fields for creating tags in emails. If you can map Facebook API User Data to the custom fields, I THINK you can probably make more personalized emails like:

"Dear {name},
It's {timestamp}! Happy Birthday! We hope the weather is nice in {city}! Blah Blah Blah Blah.... "

Dig?

yes, got it! :)
most of the time ACYMailing is used with an additional User Profile such as CB or JomSocial, so I missed that feature of custom fields.

since at the moment there is not integration you could develop you own using the Creating Your Own Profile Plugin tutorial.

yes, this is a good idea, and we will consider it for future releases.
