It's true that you won't be able to select a default Page Tab to show the user. The timeline will always be what the user sees when they visit.
However, most of the other features should work as before. Page Tabs still exist, though in a different location. The 'Reveal' feature still works, though the user will have to visit the tab explicitly for the Reveal Page to show. While at first, this sounds bad.. and in some ways it is.. the new Tabs are called out much more (in the Timeline banner at the top) and if you name it something catchy, like "Coupons!" or even "Learn More", you may get more people who want to see your tab to see it. Once there, the reveal Page will still work to try to get the user to click the Like button.
Other notes:
* Page Tabs still can have a unique link, so if you want to direct users to a specific Page Tab, you can use that link from your website or in promos.
* Page Tabs now can be larger than 520px (thankfully!). This too can be enabled in your FB App.
* For Canvas apps, there's already a setting in your Facebook Application to choose the fixed width or fluid. You can enable that now.
Neither of those changes should affect the behavior of the 4.1 release of JFBConnect, just so you know.
We do have a planned release (v4.2) for April. It will have a lot of new things, and certainly will have any fixes for problems that may crop up on or after March 31st. If anything too huge comes up and 4.2 isn't ready, we have no problem releasing a new 4.1.x release.
Hope that explains everything, but feel free to ask away. If you think there's anything we missed, let us know.. but we do everything we can to stay on top of Facebook's changes (of which there are many)!
Thanks,
Alex
