Hi,

I installed the latest version 4.1.2, however the Additional Permissions Request do not appear to be working. Only Access my basic information
Includes name, profile picture, gender, networks, user ID, list of friends, and any other information I've made public, is requested by the user.
I use the following parameters: user_about_me,user_activities,user_education_history,
user_location,user_online_presence,user_interests,
user_status,user_birthday,user_likes,offline_access

Please advice.

Hello,
could you please share with us a link to the website and screenshot of the permission settings you have set, so we could try and help you solve this issue?

I found exactly how this happens: Login on JFConnect with user1 then go to facebook, logout and login with user2, then go back to JFConnect, however you are still logged into Joomla, you see the button Login with Facebook. Click on it and you see the problem I mentioned. But if you logout of Joomla and then click on Login with Facebook, everything works great. So I think this is a minor bug.

Hello,
I'm a bit confused:
you've mentioned a permission problem, while describing an identity issue.
just curious, if you remove the 'extra' permission requests, does everything works fine?

You did not understand. This symptom happens only when you are logged in Joomla Front end using facebook and then you change the account of facebook (logout and login with another account). Then go back to Joomla front end and try to login again with facebook. However if you logout first from Joomla front end, everything works fine.

yes,
that part I understood.
the part I didn't understand was the permission part.

after all, you changed the FB User while keeping the Joomla User (session) active, therefore the system is trying to reconnect the active Joomla User to the current FB User.

so the question is:
is the new FB User not prompted for the right permissions?

Yes, that is correct, the new FB User is not prompted for the right permissions. However, if I logout from Joomla Front end, then the new FB User IS prompted for the right permissions.

and what happens if you remove the extra permissions you require?
