Hi, I have just purchased JFBConnect and installed a "login with facebook" button by using the tag in the pre-text of my virtuemart login module.
After login in, there is an option for a new user to register on the website, but when I try to entwr the password, the following message is displayed:
Password must be at least 6 characters long No matter how long the password is, this error message is always there with the red cross next to it. Also, when I fill the Verify Password field, another error message appears saying that the Passwords do not match. even though I am confident that I enter the same password. The registration goes just fine if u press register button regardless the error messages but this is very confusing. What am I doing wrong and how do I fix this?
Thanks,
Kate

Kate,
Can you post a link to where you see this happening? There obviously seems to be a validation issue happening, but not sure why as that isn't something we've heard of before.

Thanks,
Alex

Ekaterina,
I just registered on your site without any issue. If I put in too small of a password, I did see the "Too short" password. However, if I made it 6 characters, it was fine. The Verify password field worked properly as well, warning when it should and hiding the error when the passwords did match. After hitting submit, the account was created and I was logged in as expected.

Can you tell me if you're still having the issue? If you can, please let us know exactly what browser you're using as that may be part of the problem. I used Google Chrome when I was testing.

Thanks,
Alex

Yes, still got this issue. I'm using IE9.
I've just tested it in Mozilla Firefox and it went through without problems. deffinatelly looks like browser's got something to do with it, doesn't it?
very concerned cos most of the customers seam to be using IE..

Hello,
in IE9 using the Developer Tool (ALT+F12) in the console tab you can see 2 errors:
HTML1113: Document mode restart from IE9 Standards to IE7 Standards
www.safaribeads.co.uk
SCRIPT5007: Unable to get value of the property 'getElementsByTagName': object is null or undefined
ja.cssmenu.js, line 12 character 2
try fixing that, it might be related to the problem.

Mati
