Yes, because it is a live site. I only turn it off when I want to test to login using facebook.

I tried registering to the website, was my test user created?
also, is the module SCLogin or something alternative...?

Yes, I can see the test user mtk sourcecast logged in the website. The module I use is SCLogin.

there seem to be a JS error related to slimbox/lightbox which might cause to problem:
$$($$("a").filter(function (el) {return el.rel && el.rel.test(/^lightbox/i);})).slimbox is not a function
[Break On This Error]

})).slimbox({/* Put custom options here */}, null, function(el) {
could you please try (even yourself on a hidden internal page) enabling the SCLogin module without the slimbox/lightbox and see if your are able to login properly?

I manage to revert back to the old template I use before the current one, and only publish the SClogin module with no popup or else, but still got the same problem.

I should stressed out that if I change any Registered user to become Administrator or Super Administrator, then the user will be displayed as logged in at the front end.

FYI, the Login button at top right of the website is supposed to change to Logout button if the user is logged in at the front end. The problem now is that I as the administrator can see the Registered user as logged in at the back end but the Registered user can't see himself as logged in at the front end, thus can't access the area for Registered user.

I've made another discovery.

I use the setting under "User Creation : Facebook User Only", but then I tried changing it to "Full Joomla User" and guess what, now the user CAN actually LOGIN in the FRONTEND! Reverting back to the option "Facebook User Only" will give the problem again. Users who already registered can login with their Facebook only but new user after clicking the Login with Facebook button must input username and password. I think this will be my temporary solution because I do want regular users to just register and login with their Facebook account only and no need for them to enter username and password.

I hope that this bug/error or whatever it is can be fixed ASAP. Anyway I'm still waiting any reply from support team about this problem.

Hafizul,
We're still unsure of any reason that would cause the user to not seem logged in on the front end, and there's no reason that the Full Joomla User setting should cause any difference in behavior.

Regarding sh404SEF, we'd recommend setting JFBConnect to 'skip' to make sure that it doesn't interfere with any of our URLs. That may help, but it's unlikely.

Beyond that, can you let us know if you have any 'social' extensions (like Community Builder or JomSocial) installed? It doesn't look that way, but if so, it will help to know. Additionally, can you tell us what authentication and user plugins you have enabled? There are some that can cause conflicts, but it's rare. If it's just the standard Joomla ones, they shouldn't cause any problem.

Thanks,
Alex
