Topic-icon New user cannot login to website using the Login with Facebook

Recently I tested my website by creating a new Facebook user and tried to login using Login with Facebook button. However, I found out that when after I click on the Login with Facebook button, then allow the Request for Permission, then my website just reload but still user is not logged in and cannot access the area meant for registered users. But, when I check the Administrator site for Logged in Users, I can see that the new user has actually logged in. FYI, I have no problem logging in using the old account I created before.

I have followed the instruction in the SClogin module template login file to comment the 3 lines
$jfbcLogin = $helper->getJFBConnectLoginButton(); 
if ($jfbcLogin != "") 
    echo $jfbcLogin;
and uncomment the alternative login button

Is there anything else to be done?

Weird thing is, when I made the new Facebook user as Administrator or Super Administrator, I can login with Facebook button, but when I revert back to Registered user, the problem happens again.

Please quickly help me out in this, because this problem happens on a live site.

are you using any sort of caching mechanism and/or have SEF (URL Rewrite) enabled?

Yes, my website uses sh404sef for sef url. I've tried disabling it but still get the same result. Every time I do the login test I will do the Clean Cache in the Joomla Tools menu.

try also cleaning the sh404SEF cache, and completely disabling it's plugins.
also check in the Joomla's Redirect component that you do not have anything related to those pages.

I already did to purge all the links created by sh404sef, and also disable their plugins. Still the same problem.

Yes, regular login works. I can see the new FB user's profile picture when I click the logout button
